According to Basemeijr this is an easy to grow aquarium plant but I've never had good luck with it submersed, ever.
It grows emersed very very well for me though and others report similar experiences with this species which vanished before I had a chance to try even more light and supplemental CO2.
Growth emerse was hard to believe, it was unstoppable, some even survived a light Canadian frost that killed other houseplants thet were also left outside a little too late in the year.
